OPTION 3: OWNER-ACTIVE BOARD + TRAIN

THE OWNER-ACTIVE BOARD & TRAIN INCLUDES YOUR PUPPY OR DOG COMING TO THE DOG RANCH TO WORK BASIC FOUNDATIONS, OBEDIENCE, AND TO ADDRESS CHALLENGE BEHAVIORS + MEETING WITH THE OWNERS THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE BOARD AND TRAIN ON SITE AT THE DOG RANCH OR PUBLIC LOCATIONS. DOG TRAINING IS HUMAN TRAINING AND WE HAVE ADDED THIS OPTION TO BETTER EDUCATE OWNERS ON HANDLING AND SKILL WORK SO THEY CAN LEARN THE PROPER TECHNIQUES TO BETTER SUCCEED WITH THEIR DOG LONG TERM.

Rates: Owner-active Board & Trains begin at the same rate as the Standard Board and Train ($135 per day) + standard lesson pricing for in-home lessons. This option includes lessons worked in either in the owner’s home, on-site at the Dog Ranch, or a social setting

• 1 initial consult before the board & train in-your-home required

• 1 follow lesson after the board & train in-your-home required (4-pack + minimum is highly recommended and training 1-2x/week upon the dog’s return is HIGHLY ADVISED).

  • puppies or dogs with extreme separation anxiety, major problem behaviors, or with potty training challenges (soiling in crate), or behaviors requiring very close and constant monitoring may alter the rate or additional training may be recommended before beginning.

  • rate includes all training rewards (I dehydrate my own anti-biotic/hormone free single-ingredient treats); please bring your dog’s food — although if they are not motivated by their standard meals (do not eat as soon as the food goes down), alternative rewards will be provided and used

  • puppies and dogs are trained and worked multiple times per day and generally not ever fed from the bowl, only by hand in a working session

• Minimum of four weeks is required to start with + an initial consult and post lesson in home

*SHORTER BOARD AND TRAIN STAYS MAY BE PERMITTED FOR EXISTING 1V1 TRAINING CLIENTS, OR ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS
