Welcome to the Dog Ranch!
When the Dog Ranch was born in 2012, I never imagined it would be what it is today. Overnight dog-boarding is a full-time commitment and occupies my entire calendar year. In addition, I also offer dog training services as well as Pet CPR and First Aid certification classes. It is my pleasure to open my home to your beloved dog, and I hope you are as excited as I am to welcome a new member to the family.
It is my goal to give you peace of mind and a sense of security when your dog is under my care. I am a Certified Animal Emergency Instructor and I pride myself on being as transparent as possible with an effort to always clearly communicate with dog owners. It is my promise to always do my best to be honest in my observations regarding your dog, and to always advocate for your dog. Safety and overall health and well-being for your dog is a priority.
Booking Future Stays:
Please keep in mind an evaluation provides only a snapshot of your dog's behavior in a new environment. While it is an important first step, some behaviors may not become apparent until a dog has settled in over the course of an overnight stay.
For example, behaviors such as persistent scent marking, difficulty coexisting safely with other dogs, an inability to relax, destructive behaviors, or excessive stress and anxiety may not be observed during an evaluation but can emerge later. If concerns arise that affect your dog's welfare, the safety of other dogs, or my ability to provide appropriate care, I will discuss my observations with you. Depending on the circumstances, management strategies, training recommendations, or alternative boarding arrangements may be recommended—or, in some cases, required.
My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and positive environment for every dog in my care. Being transparent about a dog's success within the program allows me to maintain that standard while ensuring each dog is placed in the environment best suited to their individual needs.
