You’ve booked your evaluation!

Thank you for going through the application process with us and taking the time to submit your vet records. The final step before acceptance for any day services or overnight stays is the evaluation itself which takes place on site at the Dog Ranch, without the owner present.

Based upon your selection on your application, you will be dropping off your dog for either a basic evaluation (45-60 minutes), or the half day evaluation ($25, 2-4 hours).

Common Evaluation Questions:

Where is the evaluation located?
For safety and security purposes, my address is not listed online and is only provided once an evaluation is scheduled. I am located at 6030 Westport Lane. Naples, FL 34116.

What time should I show up for my evaluation?
You should show up for your evaluation ON TIME, and preferably ten minutes before your scheduled time. You will need to take into account traffic when you decide what time to leave.

Where should I go when I arrive?
When you turn into my driveway on the lefthand side of the street you will see a Dog Ranch sign as well as a directional “keep right” sign. Please keep right and pull up to the orange cones and STOP in front of the stop sign. You will be able to pull around the driveway to exit.

Should I let my dog(s) out when I arrive?
I should be outside upon your arrival. You may park and either leave your car running (or not) and take your dog(s) out, under control, ON A LEASH. You may see if they would like to potty as a lot of dogs will want to mark, or will need to have a bowel movement due to nerves. I will take your dog, likely one by one if you have multiple, into the fenced area.

When should I return to pick up my dog(s) from the evaluation?
Pending the type of evaluation you chose will dictate your pick up time. I try to text within the first 30 minutes of having a dog to inform you how they are doing. Again, please be ON TIME for your pick up.

How will I know if my dog’s evaluation was successful?
We will have a conversation about your dog at pickup, or through text messaging during the evaluation. If the evaluation was successful you will receive “welcome letter” information which will include information on how to book.
